In previous years we have been able to host teams variously from Czechia, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Slovenia,
Spain, and the USA, and this year there is promise of 30 teams from all over the world.
Debating will take place every day followed by a programme of visits and receptions. All accommodation will
be in the Maritim Hotel, situated right at the centre of Stuttgart offering a wide range of facilities and easy access
to the Swabian capital’s cultural highlights.
The Quarter-Finals will take place at
Landtag von Baden-Württemberg – Wilhelms-Palais – Haus der Geschichte –
Altes Schloss on
Wednesday, 18th February, from 3 pm till 4 pm.
The Grand Final will be held at
Liederhalle, Mozartsaal, at 5 pm on Friday, 20th February.
The format will be WSDC parliamentary, with points of information and with no cross-examination. Length of
speeches will be eight minutes.
